What happens to what you upload.

You give Kubikly floor plans of your home, photographs of your jewellery and drawings of things you are making. This page explains, plainly, where they go, who can see them, what the AI does with them, and what you can rely on. It describes how the product works today, not aspirations.

Private by default

Every project starts private and stays private. Nothing you upload or create becomes public automatically.

  • Uploads, renders and exports are stored privately and are only ever served through signed links that expire, usually within an hour. A link cannot be guessed and stops working on its own.
  • A project becomes viewable by others only if you create a public link for it, and you can switch it back to private at any time.
  • Search engines index Kubikly’s own pages and demo projects — never your projects, uploads or renders.
  • Kubikly administrators can open projects to give support, investigate failed generations and improve reconstruction quality. That access is limited to administrators, and opening a project in the admin console is recorded in an audit log.

Who processes your data

Kubikly uses a small number of service providers. Each receives only what it needs for its job.

ProviderWhat forWhat it receives
RenderHosting of the application, database and file storageEverything you store in Kubikly. Servers in Frankfurt, Germany.
OpenAIPrincipal AI model for analysing images and drawings and for the design assistantThe images and documents you upload to a project and your messages to the assistant, when a generation or chat runs.
AnthropicFallback AI model, used only when the principal one is unavailableThe same as above, only for that request.
ResendSending account and notification emailsYour email address and the content of the email (for example a verification link or a "your model is ready" notice).
NOWPaymentsCrypto paymentsThe amount and plan you are paying for and an order reference. Your wallet and the transaction are handled on their page; Kubikly never sees a private key.
GoogleSign in with Google, only if you choose itYour Google account email and name, to create or open your Kubikly account.

The daily gold price comes from public price services; no information about you is sent to them. Kubikly has no advertising or third-party tracking scripts and sells no data.

How the AI is used

The AI’s job is to describe what is in your image as structured data — walls and rooms, metal parts and stones, panels and legs. It never draws the model. That description is validated against a strict schema and anything that does not fit is rejected; the geometry, volumes, weights and renders are then computed by ordinary deterministic code.

  • Your files are sent to the AI provider only while a generation, appraisal or chat runs, through their business APIs. Content sent through those APIs is not used by the providers to train their models.
  • Everything you upload is treated as data, never as instructions: text inside an image or a certificate cannot change what Kubikly does.
  • Every change the assistant makes is an explicit operation you can see and undo, and every version of your model is kept.

Measurements and labels

Every number Kubikly shows says where it came from, so you never have to guess whether it was read, calculated or estimated:

MEASURED
Read from your input — a dimension written on a drawing that agrees with the others.
USER PROVIDED
A value you entered. It overrides anything estimated.
CALCULATED
Computed from measured or provided values, such as an area from walls or a gold weight from volume and alloy density.
AI ESTIMATED
The model's judgement where the input does not say. Shown as an estimate, with a range where it matters.
ASSUMED
A standard value used when nothing else is known — for example a typical door width.
CERTIFICATE
Read from a grading certificate you uploaded.

Scale follows the same rule. A plan is calibrated only when a real reference exists — dimension lines that agree, a measurement from you, or a certificate. Without one it is estimated and areas are shown with a “~”; with nothing at all, no area is shown. A model’s own confidence is never treated as evidence.

Model limitations

Kubikly reconstructs what the evidence supports, and it is designed to tell you when the evidence runs out. Some things cannot be known from an image at all:

  • Absolute size from a photograph. Nothing in a photo of a ring gives its real size; a ring size, a width or one known dimension is needed. Floor plans are better when they carry written dimensions.
  • Karat and metal purity. Colour does not reveal karat. Kubikly uses a hallmark you can read or a value you give.
  • Gemstone identity and quality. A photo cannot tell a diamond from a simulant or grade clarity. A certificate can, and Kubikly reads one when you upload it.
  • Anything hidden. The back of a setting, the inside of a wall or the far side of a chair is inferred from typical construction and labelled as assumed.
  • Hand-drawn or low-resolution input. Results are less exact; you can correct any dimension afterwards by typing it or telling the assistant.

Prices, gold weights and valuations are estimates derived from the modelled geometry and labelled sources. They are not appraisals, surveys or engineering documents.

Ownership

You keep all rights to what you upload and to the models you create. Kubikly needs only the permission to process, store and display them to you and to anyone you share them with, as set out in the Terms. Exported GLB, OBJ and STL files are yours to use anywhere.

Retention and deletion

  • Deleting a project removes it from your account and turns off any public link to it.
  • Closing your account signs you out everywhere and removes your email address, name and sign-in.
  • The content of projects — uploads, versions, renders and conversations — is kept after either, visible only to Kubikly administrators, for support and to improve our reconstructions.
  • If you want your content permanently erased, ask us and we will erase it.
  • Payment records are kept as the law requires.

The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Payments and credits

  • Your first complete 3D model is free. Editing by chat is always free. No card is needed to start.
  • Paid work uses credits. The cost is shown before you confirm, and a job that fails is refunded automatically.
  • Credits are granted only when the payment provider confirms the payment to our servers — never because a browser says so.
  • Kubikly never stores card numbers or wallet keys. Crypto payments are made on NOWPayments’ page; a crypto month is paid once and does not renew by itself.
  • Kubikly will never ask you to pay anywhere except the Billing page inside your account. See pricing.

Security

Passwords are hashed with Argon2, sessions live in secure HTTP-only cookies, every page is served over HTTPS with a strict content security policy, uploads are checked by their actual content rather than their name, and sign-in, sign-up and paid work are rate-limited. The Security page lists each control and, just as importantly, what we do not claim.

Contact and reports

Questions about your data, a deletion or erasure request, or a security issue: use the contact form and choose “Security & privacy” — those messages are read first.
