AI Jeweler
A jewellery price estimate you can read line by line
Upload a photo, a certificate or an old appraisal. In about a minute you get a spec sheet and a price for buying new, selling pre-owned or having it made, with every line showing whether it came from today's spot, a trade table, your input or an assumption. Natural or lab-grown is one tap.
Retail incl. VAT, resale (private, dealer, scrap) and manufacturing cost, each with a range.
Both priced from their own tables; lab-grown resale is shown honestly, near zero.
VAT and workshop rates for about 55 countries; 25 currencies at today's rates.
How it works
- 1Upload photos
One or more angles of a ring, pendant, chain or bracelet; sketches and renders are fine.
- 2AI models the construction
Band, setting, prongs, halo, stones and chain links are rebuilt as parametric geometry.
- 3Calibrate
Give the ring size or one measurement; optionally the karat and stone details.
- 4Edit by talking
“18K rose gold”, “2 carat centre stone”, “band 0.4 mm thicker”, “show it with emeralds”.
- 5Weight, price, export
Volume-based gold weight for every karat, the day’s metal value in 25 currencies, STL for casting.
A price estimate is only as good as its assumptions, so this one prints them: the spot price and its timestamp, the stone table and tier, the workshop hours and rate, the VAT rate, and whether the karat and weight were stated or assumed.
Make it exact
Two numbers do most of the work: the weight from any kitchen scale and the karat from the hallmark. Enter them under More details and the metal line becomes precise; a certificate fixes the stones.
Frequently asked
- Is this an appraisal?
- No. It is a transparent calculation and says so; insurers need a written appraisal. It is the fastest way to know what you own before you talk to anyone.
- What does it cost?
- 3 credits per estimate; changing the situation, country, origin or details afterwards is free.
- Can you tell the karat or the gemstone from a photo?
- No, and we never claim to. Karat, gemstone identity and weight cannot be read from an ordinary photograph. The studio labels such values as AI ESTIMATED and lets you enter what you know; the weight estimate is calculated from modelled volume and the alloy density you choose.
- How accurate is the gold weight?
- As accurate as the geometry. With a ring size or one measurement the range is typically within ±8–12%; hidden metal under stones and hollowed shanks widen the range, which we show explicitly.
