Halo ring: photo to 3D CAD, gold weight and price
Halos hide the numbers that matter: how many pavé stones, what size, how much total carat weight. The studio counts them, sizes them from the centre stone, and prices the setting time per stone.
The numbers that matter
- Pavé size
- 1.0–1.3 mm melee (0.005–0.01 ct each); a halo around a 1 ct round takes 18–24 stones.
- Visual gain
- A halo makes a centre stone read one size up, at a fraction of the stone cost.
- Setting time
- About 3–4 minutes per pavé stone; a double halo doubles the labour, not the metal.
- Total carat
- Halo melee adds 0.15–0.3 ct in total; certificates usually cover the centre stone only.

- Does the price include the setting labour for every small stone?
- Yes. Pavé setting is priced per stone at the region's workshop rate, shown as its own line.
- Can I get the gem report?
- The Report tab lists every stone group with cut, mm size, count, carat each and total, plus the metal-weight table.
- Can the halo be lab-grown while the centre is natural?
- Set the diamonds to lab-grown or natural for the piece; for mixed pieces, name the group lab-grown in chat and the report prices it separately.
