Redesign your home office from a photo
The home office tends to be where everything else goes: the printer, the boxes from the move, the chair that came free with something. Upload a photo and see the same room as a place to work, with the boxes gone and the desk where the light is.

Asked: “Turn this into a calm, organised home office.” · Clean & redesign · Luxury Office
The cabinetry, the printer stand and the monitors in the foreground are kept; the boxes are cleared and a desk, chair, shelving and an acoustic panel are added.

Things you can ask for
- “Turn this into a calm, organised home office.”
- “Keep the desk, replace the chair, add closed storage for files and hide the cables”
- “Luxury office: a wooden desk, a leather chair, shelving on the left wall and a warm task light”
- “It has to be a guest room too: a sofa bed on the back wall and a compact desk by the window”
- “A tidy bookshelf and a plant behind the chair for video calls”
What a good home office needs
- Light from the side. A desk facing a window puts glare on the screen and your face in shadow on calls; a desk at right angles to the window is easier on the eyes.
- Closed storage below, open storage above. Files, cables and the printer go behind doors; books and a few objects go on shelves you can see.
- Two kinds of light: a task lamp on the desk and softer light for the room, so the screen is not the brightest thing in it.
- A background you are happy to show, because whatever is behind your chair is what colleagues see.
- Something soft. A rug, curtains and upholstered furniture take the echo out of calls.
Getting a good result
Choose Clean & redesign if the room is full of boxes and paperwork; the clutter is cleared before the room is restyled. Choose Declutter only if you just want to see the room tidy with your own furniture. Mark the desk Keep if it is staying and the chair Replace if it is not.
Photograph from the doorway with the window in frame, so the analysis can see where the light comes from. The Luxury Office preset leans towards wood, leather, built-in shelving and hidden cables; Minimalist and Warm Minimal give a quieter room with fewer pieces. In the example on this page, the cabinetry, printer stand and monitors were kept and the boxes cleared.
Rooms that do two jobs
Many home offices are also the guest room, or a corner of the bedroom. Ask for both in one sentence and compare up to three options side by side. The picture will show you whether the room feels crowded; it cannot show whether the sofa bed opens without hitting the desk, so measure that yourself.
Frequently asked
- Will it organise my cables and paperwork?
- It shows the room with them gone or hidden; the tidying is still yours. The design is useful as a target: what goes behind doors and what stays on show.
- Can I keep my desk and monitor?
- Yes. Mark them Keep and the spec panel lists them as kept alongside what was removed and added.
- Will it recommend a desk chair?
- No. It does not identify brands or link to products. If the chair matters for your back, try one in person; the design only shows how a chair looks in the room.
- Does it work for a desk in the corner of a living room?
- Yes. Photograph the corner with enough of the room around it for context. A close-up of the desk alone is the weakest case.
